In-person/Virtual Hybrid Mile High Writers' Workshop

Welcome to MHWW!

There are some things we are requesting to help us be successful with our hybrid model.

  1. Please remember to RSVP through Meetup. When you arrive there will be a sign up by the door for readers. Please remember that our read list closes at 7:05 pm, so you must sign in to read by then. You may sign in up to 24 hours before workshop, though no earlier.

  2. We are asking all attendees to please upload work you will be reading to the Discord Drop Zone channel as early as possible (instructions can be found on our website Discord page). Please try to upload by Monday evening to midday Tuesday . This is NOT a requirement; however allowing everyone access to typed copy and returning written critique is very helpful.

  1. If you’re writing until the last moment and can’t bring a laptop or device, please try to bring printed copies with you.

    • If you don’t use technology, that is fine, you will just have to listen and take notes.

Meditate & Write In Community

Prior to the regular Mile High Writers’ Workshop, please join us for a brief gathering (30-minutes): a short sitting meditation (15 mins) followed by a timed writing prompt (15 mins) from the teachings of Natalie Goldberg (Writing Down the Bones & other books). Please bring a bolster/pillow/yoga block to sit on and a pen & paper. Come to meditate, stay for workshop, if you'd like. Open to everyone! RSVP on Meetup.
